Lum’s mission is to design and provide modern simplicity and comfort combined with the elegance and grace of the Victorian era. It offers a feminine, affordable, confident and classy mystique by reflecting effortless elegance. Blending soft colors and trimming with delicate lace, flounces, frills and bows is our signature. Quality and exclusivity are assured as each item is meticulously designed and individually hand-made. 

 Launched in 2010, Lum was founded by Lama Taher. The idea emerged when she moved back from London. After living 6 years abroad and receiving her MSc in Child Psychology, she decided to give her academic pursuits a break and nourish her dormant creativity by strengthening her intrinsic passion in fashion design. Lum’s first collection included feminine casual wear offering unique cotton t-shirts and chic jumpsuits and vests. As demand increased, elegant cocktail dresses were added. The rapid expansion of the brand emerged after Ramadan’s collection was launched, as Lum created long dresses that are chic, classy and wearable all year round. The overwhelming positive feedback encouraged the designer to translate her taste in feminine abayas made to flaunt our culture’s robes and veils with color and style. We are committed to our design concepts of simplicity and elegance, to quality and value and putting our customer first, always.
